MAY HILL FARM EQUESTRIAN
We're a friendly family-run Riding School just below the National Trust grounds of May Hill.
Located on the borders of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, we are perfectly situated for the surrounding areas - be it Huntley, Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester, or the Forest of Dean.
The Farm is home to beautiful woodlands, acres of natural meadows, and old stone stables.
Our Riding School is small, and friendly, we offer one to one sessions, group lessons and pony experiences, which are all moulded around you individually.
WHATS ON OFFER
Our lessons are taught in a calm, relaxed environment, with enthusiastic and considerate instruction, for children and adults alike. We believe that learning to ride isn't just about riding, but about every aspect of equestrian life. We encourage our clients to get involved with every step. Our clients are evaluated on a very regular basis, so we can tweak the lesson accordingly and progression is always happening.
PONY PALS CLUB
Our children's club is a fantastic opportunity for children to come and experience the world of owning horses. They'll make lots of new friends, learn lots of horsey knowledge and have so much fun doing so!!
PONY EXPERIENCE
Why not try a new experience? At May Hill Farm Equestrian we think it's important to offer things that people might like to do but aren't quite sure. Our one hour experiences give an insight into what it would be like to take up a new hobby or try something a little different from the norm.
PONY PARTIES
We offer bespoke children's Pony Party experiences, designed to your brief, we provide the ponies, and the fabulous location. This can be anything from fancy dress to a woodland picnic. Lots of fun, and definitely a memorable experience
HACKING
We are very lucky to have outstanding scenery, and fantastic hacking routes. However we require a good standard of riding and experience handling horses.

LIVERY FACILITIES
We know each individual and horse has specific requirements when it comes livery stays - that's why we'll get to know you both, so that we can offer you the perfect package. That way you can concentrate on the important bit - enjoying your horse!
